Kelven Tan

Chow Kit Baru was designed by our elite strategic planning team led by our chief executive officer and operations director Kelven Tan.

Tan has more than 10 years’ experience in IT and real estate. In 1990s, he sat on the board of several IT companies. He later became a venture capitalist before becoming a property developer. As marketing director of CPI Land, Tan made his mark as a developer through the award-winning Avantas Residences project on Old Klang Road.

Pusat Pakaian Hari-Hari

The co-founder of Chow Kit Baru is Dato Teoh Kok Cheng. He and his family are known for their involvement in the popular Pusat Pakaian Hari Hari retail chain, which now has more than 100 outlets nationwide. Apart from retailing, Dato Teoh is an expert in wholesale as he serves as an agent for several clothing brands.

Dato Teoh also has experience in the real estate industry, with stakes in the Sky Riverfront Service Apartment and a hotel known as Ibis Styles Kota Bharu.

Chow Kit Baru will synergise the expertise, knowledge and experience of these two key individuals in the field of IT, retail, wholesale and real estate to help budding wholesalers pursue their dreams and achieve success.
